ไม่ใช่แค่แวดวง Technology ที่ตั้งความหวังไว้สูงมากกับ Tim Cook และ iPhone 8 Edition
Goldman Sachs ก็เช่นกัน, ส่งผลให้หุ้นของ Apple Inc มีค่าน่าลงทุนสูงขึ้นไปอีกในปี 2017
เมื่อสาย Investment ยังคงเชื่อว่า Tim Cook มี “ไม้เด็ด” บางอย่างใน iPhone 8 Edition ที่จะพลิกวงการได้
และหนึ่งในนั้นก็คือ AR [Augmented Reality] กับกล้อง 3 มิติที่ทำงานคู่กัน !
Augmented Reality : ความจริงเสมือนที่ซ้อนบนจอ iPhone 8
“3D sensing would be a meaningful growth opportunity for the company in the coming years,
highlighting the market could be worth more than 1 billion USD over time”
คือการประเมินมูลค่าคร่าวๆ ของ AR Technology ในปี 2017
และ AR [Augmented Reality] ก็ยิ่งน่าสนใจมากขึ้นในแวดวง Investment เมื่อ Tim Cook ประกาศลงเงินในธุรกิจสายนี้, คู่กับสาย VR [Virtual Reality] ซึ่งทั้ง 2 Technologies ก็มีลักษณะคล้ายกันตรงที่ “สร้างความจริงเสมือนขึ้นมา”
Virtual Reality [VR] อาจพาเราเข้าสู่โลกเสมือนจริงเมื่อสวมแว่น, เน้นประสบการณ์ใหม่ๆ
ในขณะที่ Augmented Reality [AR] จะสร้าง “ภาพซ้อน” บนจอ iPhone 8 เพื่อบอกข้อมูลต่างๆ ดังภาพด้านบน
iPhone 8 Edition : ยอดขายที่เพิ่มขึ้นอย่างน้อยก็ 200%
“Goldman Sachs Jankowski estimates Apple’s installed base entering the iPhone 8 product cycle will be more than double its installed base entering the iPhone 6 product cycle three years ago”
ผมเองก็บินไปหิ้ว iPhone 6 ตั้งแต่มันวางขายวันแรกที่ญี่ปุ่น, จนกระทั่งวันนี้ก็ยังเป็นตำนาน
เพราะ iPhone 6 ก้าวข้ามขีดจำกัดเดิมๆ เรื่องขนาดจอ, จากยุค 4.0 นิ้วใน iPhone 5S กลายเป็น 4.7 นิ้ว
และ Goldman Sachs ก็เชื่อว่า “ตำนาน” นั้นจะหวนกลับมาใหม่ใน iPhone 8 Edition
ด้วยการเปลี่ยน Design ไปพร้อมๆ กับขยายจอภาพเป็นแบบไร้ขอบ [Edgeless Display] และ AR & 3D Cam
